Safety should be first and foremost in any division, some of the cars in the chargers at BSW are fast enough to compete with our regular 4's, the difference is the experience the drivers have. Your 4-fun division can still be for fun with safety coming first. Our charger division, yes gives new drivers the experience, but it is also suppose to be for fun and the drivers are having fun. Yes we had some bad crashes last year in this division, but because BSW mandates safety first, all of the drivers walked away from there cars. The cars weren't in very good shape, but the drivers where back out on the track before seasons end, some in the very next race. If you can't race safely, if you can't afford the full roll cage, proper fuel cell and protective wear, then you shouldn't be on a track in any division of racing. Thats what go cart tracks are for. I know some will say thats harsh, but lets face it things happen on a track, cars get tangled up and serious injury can occur if proper safety percautions are not taken. Sunset should rethink the safely aspect of the 4-fun division, if only to protect the drivers alone.
