haha indeed man...hind-sight is 20/20
but thanks for doing that and giving us a break...u clda charged 100 or more but u didnt n i appreciate that...
u can buy them at kawartha 115 a pop...do some HW! just not for the price junior was selling them for!!! haha...
Ok, so here is the low down on the falken tire debacle......I was able to get them and sell them for $85.00 a pop and still make some coin....now that being said, people are paying upwards of the $115.00 per tire....hmmmm, so someone is hosing the racing comunity hardcore!! Im sure if you look hard enough you can get them cheaper but because I was able to do this at such a low cost to the drivers, the "big" companies whined and cried to falken to the point of childish crap and falken decided to kill the little guys and stick with the big guys (Hosers), so that is how they monopolized the tracks with falkens. Food for thought, KD sells for $115.00, I would have and was selling for $85.00 this year....thats a $30.00 split and the supplier was getting them for the same price I was, now I know KD gets them for somewhere between $90 to $95 each, i saw the sheet from the supplier and I can bet you that the supplier gets them for around the $50 to $55 each mark.....do the math! I was trying to do a good thing but guess what, it didnt work.....have fun making these guys rich! ;D
We actually know the company who supplies Kawartha with the tires, and let me tell you there are alot smaller then the Angus Carquest. They sell them to Kawartha, and Kawartha obviously ups the price a little due to gas, and getting them from this supplier to the track. It's probably a 2+ hour drive for whoever picks them up. We we're talking to the supplier, and they are actually sponsoring Dave, so we get a better price then most. I know this supplier was trying to get Wes to order some tires from him, because he scooped up all the available tires. And when the next lot come available he has another container coming in. So prehaps in the near future you'll see Falkens at Sunset.
