From what I have been told the Frosty Special is Cancelled for this year......the 16th of August is now as Thunder Car Invitational....and from what I have heard it s $1000 to win.
So spread both the bad news and the good news.
That is awful WHY can't there be 2 invitationals???? I mean I miss the Thursday Invitationals that they had lastyear..

Last year Sunset had 53 fans in the seats and lots of cars.
Question? who is going to pay the bills? with 53 fans and the drivers registration pooled together there is still not enough to meet all the expenses. Will you race for a % of the gate ?? 53 people at $14.00 each will give you $742.00 to divide between all of the divisions.
Than on top of that the track has to pay staff wages, insurance, hydro, water, and the list goes on.
I for one am glad that he catcalled this race.
