lmao thayne...actually out of all of the tires on my car right now ive only paid for one of them and that was a used falken...i dont have 2 of the same tires on my car, there all different..the rest free from the junkyard...and one fellow at the flee market last month was nice enough to give us one

and Kevin yes my car does haul down the straight away.....but it should making 40% more power than the others from factory.

I was just giving you a hard time Ben. As all racers do. You did pick the right car that's for sure. I'm surprised there is not more of those.

So there might be a few deals out there but i mean look at the cost of these cars now...i mean tqkennyb says $3000 for his, Burrows wants 6500 for his, and the other Burrows wants 11000 for both of his, I believe Dave Glaze was asking 5000 for his, Musker is asking 3000 for his pinto, Fitzpatrick has a mustang for sale 3500, Crumbie is asking 4500 for his, 3900 for Ken Tanners mustang.

I paid 500 for mine but am now i need of redoing all the wiring on it and basically re skinning the whole car....plus i need new tires, a racing rim..go over the suspension and brakes who knows how much more between now and next season. The cheapest deals arnt always the best, those are some off the best built cars out there. It comes down to the old thing that the longer a division is around the faster and the more expensive its going to get. Look where mini stock racing started in the late 90's early millennium right and compare to now. Especially when KD, CCS and Peterborough have opened it up to DOHC it makes these SOHC almost obsolete and pretty much screwed if you want to travel outside those 3 tracks.

and I want $100,000 for my thunder  😉 . We all have one thing in common, are cars arn't selling...

Buying cheap isn't a bad thing. That way you know everthing is bad on it, and you have the buget to replace it/ do it right. As soon as the expensive track championship car is forsale, you can bet the guy isn't putting the same money into it... Personally I'll take the obviously worn tie-rod end, replace it on my own time, vs the car I dropped 3K into and wears out the tie rod ect after 5 races...

As for DOHC, its just keeping with the times. Hard to find a SOHC 8 valve anymore.. Heck you want to run competitively at KD you are limited to a Honda anyhow.. ITs the flaw with a class that is open to so many differnt powerplants..

I disagree...i have like 4 complete motors now and 8 heads....it's not that hard to find them if you try....

there should be two different classes tho imo....mini and supermini or something?
