there should be two different classes tho imo....mini and supermini or something?
Then it could go to the next level with skinned cars, heavily modded motors and drivetrains, like mini late models. Not saying it's a bad thing - the question is more like do we try to restrict these cars down as hard as possible through teching or open up the rules to new opportunities for mods (kinda like a "next gen" 4 cylinder).

pro-4s didnt work the first time
we need to stop bringing in new divisions and work more at bringing rules closer together so cars can run at different tracks with minimal changes needed
thats how DIRT does it, and they're not exactly starving for fans or car count

Yes I agree, a provincewide rules agreement would be outstanding.
try and find them kevin...i looked for a year...a few were rotten and I cldnt find any good ones...
you just have to know where to look...we've had 7 of them so far...3 of them were decent(2 of them being the ones we race)...the rest all rotten...the most we've ever spent on one was 400 bucks, average around 200. but with the price of scrap these days by the time you strip the the good parts off (suspension, body, motor) and take it in you get almost all that money back...the bodies are always good..its the frames, the rot like they were made of wood or something
back to the original question. Yes the 4 fun division is a great learning division and at a cheap cost. But more safety should be added such as a seat, a little better cage and racing belts. If you go any further then that i think the class will go downhill.
I would say have the top 3 moved up from the points or even just the champion being moved up. at BSW the top 3 were forced to move up from the charger division to the Pure Stock division. They are all at least mid pack cars and can keep up with the field and they have the same cars.
I think maybe awarding the top 3 4 fun drivers CSC cages or something so they could move up would be awesome. I know mine was under $500 when i bought it and it was cut and bent already. Would be a good idea to cut some costs for the guy that has to move up. I was the first guy in the Charger division that wasn't forced to move up but I sold my car. I got $3500 for it and that was what I was asking for it. It was a good car and was pretty safe, cause dad wouldn't let me run without the safety. The car was 200 lbs over the minimum weight because of all the bars.
It is true it is hard to find the good deals but they are out there if you are willing.
