HANS and the Hutchens device won't even work with an open-faced helmet, right?

good question. I dont think so but Im not sure why you would spend the money on either device and not buy a full face.

True.....Are there still guys in weekly competition running open-faced helmets anymore?

Our class(hobby stock-Calgary) still allows them,but they will be illegal in 2008.Personally,I've always worn a full face,keeps rubber,dirt and sundry engine parts out of the eyes...

i'd use the money towards a head and neck restraint. oh this is Kahnefreak on his dads screen name! yeah i'd be getting safety stuff. i've been in a couple good wrecks and it hurts. Besides i refuse to spend anymore money to make my car faster! only thing i would do is change the setup from race to race to see if that helped....i think my dad would agree with me on the head and neck restraints as he has a bad back and that would probably help him out a ton in a wreck!
