How many people do you see with the motorcycle helmets?

They must burn nice in a fire... shouldn't a nomex lining be manditory?

as we move up the type of safety equipment  is mandated.ie full face, two layer nomex, head sock, newer belts,head and neck. as we move forward as a club we bring these rules in as mandatory in the lower classes. we some times get the argument that the lower classes do not need head and neck. imho if the car goes faster than you can run and has the likely hood of a quick stop then you need head and neck.all local class have had door plates for several years. the one place we can do alot of improvement is in seats and belt mounting.ps db71 did you have to replace your seat after the crash or get it recertified
