Well now I've read enough whinning on this site!! and I've had more then enough of it at the track aswell! Dave Glaze was in a borrowed car on Saturday night and quite frankly was the class of the field by far, running consistant 16.6's and 7's and apparently has offended a few people that wanted to protest but just wern't smart enough to do it before the feature LOL. Let this be a lesson to all you whinning racers, if you get ur ducks in a row this is how it works!!! The 35 car had lots and I mean lots of bent, broken and worn out parts on it the last time it was at Barrie, the crew worked hard to put it back in form and generously offered the ride to Dave for the night with thier engine not Dave's, now with that being said everybody already knows this is a RIM car the only 4 cyl RIM chassis around, now with all the parts being fixed the team knew the car would be "hooked" and as we all seen it sure was!!! now it's time for the simple math people if your car is hooked in the ends what does this mean?????? that's right you can get to the gas faster and harder then most. and if you can get to the gas faster and harder what does this equal???? again you're right a really fast race car!! that concludes your lesson for the night so stop whining and start doing your homework and maybe you'll shave a few tenths yourself!! Better yet how about I get the proper specs for those Hondas and protest them?? that might be a good idea, would they find something...you betcha!! as for Crum-B I don't mind that kid but my word what in the hell is with Rainwoman?? I've never seen that much distain for one person in a long long time!! she really hates Dave Glaze!! she needs to stay home so her son can have fun with racing the way it should be, also it would make it just that much more enjoyable for us too, but the Penny's oh my what can I say Al should know by now that HP is not required @BSW to win, but they're sooo pissed that a domestic can spank them that they can't even think straight!! and answer me this how does the 45 car put Glaze on top of the wall and not go to the back????? leave the Gipper and the 35 car alone I enjoy watching both and man that 35 car is something when it's on!!! if you people spent as much time resuearching as you do cryin you'ld be faster too!! the lesson of the day folks is learn to use what you got!!
wade you are absolutley right i have been following the 35 car at kawartha this season and that car gets spanked on the straights but i cant get over how fast that car is in the corners great job by the 35 crew and great driving by gipper
Wade you said it all man, hit that nail right on the head on most nights a well prepared RWD car can eat a FWD in the corners easily. Plus if you pay attention to the FWD they have to let off long before the corner. Even way back when the class first started out RWD have always out cornered a FWD car. RIM builds amazingly strong chassis's. Plus knows everything about how to set cars up. Guess some people need to take lessons from him.
Ok first question any of you ever drive a FWD race car??? I can out corner ANY RWD peice of crap out there...they ALL out power me out of the corner HOW! DO THE MATH 130H.p Vs 96 IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE! and if you want a honda spec sheet for my car i'll gladly get you anything you guys want...Bore, stroke ,cc's. and think about it a rustang and all RWD cars have to put that power through a tranny, drive shaft, and rearend. FWD is a tranny and 2 axels. You guys really need to watch closer or take a FWD car on the track... Honestly i dont think you would ever wanna drive anything else.
crum-b first of all hp means s*** if it aint on the pavement. second what connects the axles to the tranny, have ever opened up one there is a diff in fwds and is somewhat complex. lastly a well set up pinto or stang is just plain hard to beat. most fast cars do it in the corner not the straight. 25% driver+25%hp+50%handling=fast car.
