I think it's awesome some of the local tracks have decided to improve there tracks. I know I raced at Varney once and had a blast, just thought the corners were a little gritty, so it's good they are fixing things up. I think with better looking facilities, you will draw more racers to the tracks which in turn will draw more fans and more sponsors to racing... Can't wait to see what both tracks look like once they are fully revamped!

The times that I have been to Varney this year, you wouldn't have got another fan in with a shoehorn it was so packed! The car counts were great too. I find it very interesting that Varney takes a strong stance saying that they are a fan first facility. They are drawing weekly crowds way larger than any track within 200 kms (Yes that includes Sunset and Barrie) and keeping the cars too. Sounds like they may be on to something 😉 😉 😉
there arent too many tracks teching anyways from what u read online...
varney have decent washrooms for fans, which are better than alot of tracks...
food choice is great, but slow service...
the prices are good...
very fan friendly...
and lots of different classes of racing, maybe too many on a given nite..lol...
but i think varney gives the best value for fans...
not a fan of the D shape track tho sorry to say...i'm gonna miss the old one then.
