The track is gonna be a good one to run at once the track is completed... when is the prospect finish date for the new configuration?

is a new paving job on the agenda?

The plan for the upgrade the last time I talked to Ken was to have the new wall from corner 1 to 3 done this fall, then once the fill had a chance to sit ( by mid next summer ) then pour the wall from 3 to the pit entrance and only repaving the new section of track....for now. So what that means is one week the drivers will be driving the old track and when they show up the next weekend they will be running the new track....should be cool to see how some adjust!  Then once everything was done he may look at repaving the whole track, keeping in mind basically from corner 2 to corner 4 will have to be done because of the change in banking because of the widening of the back straight a way and the wall at corner 4 is being pushed out ( back ) towards the grandstands about 4 feet.

He is also looking at making the area around the end of the track at corners 3 and 4 more of a lawn chair type of area as it will be slopled toward the track and seeded down with grass....a great place to watch the races from!
