Is there room for saftey to be improved yes by all means.....but when you go mini stock racing what car is dominating right now HONDA........Kawartha the 4 fastest cars there are hondas....the top 5 or 6 at Sunset are Hondas......in four fun right now the points leader is a Geo followed by a Mazda 323, a Nissan Stanza, a VW Rabbit.
About Falkens, search around for another tire. There has to be another one out there, that is equal to that. People just follow the pack, and don't look for themselves. Too much effort I guess. Also it might be time to get a track tire for that class....
Yes Honda's rule the bigger track. It wasn't long ago that people where trying to run Shadows and the likes of that. Even before the DOHC/ 16 V rule, there was still a dominate car (I'd say caviler), just takes people time to find it. Same will hold true for the 4-funs. Someone will find that VW Rabbits (just and example) are the dominate car, and it won't be long before the same thing happens there. Its the flaw with any division with a broad range of possible cars/englines/trans. Heck isn't the same true for Thunder? If you don't have a GM chassie (A-body, g-body or camero), with GM power, you are not up there? Its almost 100% g-body metric domination.....

Ross, I agree with most of the points you have made on this thread. Safety is my business and I would not wish to see anyone hurt at the track.
And BTW it was a very nice gesture to offer to help with welding skills and equipment. True sportsmanship.

Thats great if you want to play retail plus more.......Im sure I could find them, but I dont need them so im not looking, just from what I have heard from more than just Junior, Falken has put a hold on the Azeina's. Ask the Kaszabs at Barrie they were going to buy them from the western states have them shipped to Tonawanda and bring them across the border themselves....for $60 a piece or something retarded like that......they could also get them in a 13 inch as well but either way. And the only reason I ever mention Falken is because Ross brought it up.
