Thinking about it for the past few months the series is never going to grow to the point of Nascar growth and I think this is the best it is going to get.

It seems to be better TV wise. We can follow the series week by week as the races are aired before the next race.

I think it is really in the fans hands how big the sport is going to grow. More Fans Bigger Purses for drivers.

We only have 12 races in a season how big can you grow it? We start the races season in Late May and Finish Late September.

Hooters Pro Cup has 21 Races in the season, Arca Remax has 23 races.

CFL Each Team Plays 18 games and this doesn't include Playoffs if a team makes it.

Really how much can this sport grow with this short of a season???

We should be happy wit what we got as the west really got a raw deal this year and they are not complaining they have moved on and have a series that they race.

Not knocking the series just saying the way I see it and yes I'm happy with the racing it is better then not having a series.

Go to the races bring a friend and support the series.

In order to be taken seriously I think the winner should get a little more than a hand shake. How do you think the media rates this series when the entire purse is less than what a cup winner gets.

Cup winner? I dont think the total purse even amounts to what the LAST place guy in Nextel makes.

I absolutely agree with Mid on this one.  I can't believe that TSN continued to air episodes of a fishing show and Motoring 2008 over a live event such as the NCTS race today in Montreal.  Based on the crowd sitting in the stands for the event there was more people at the NCTS race then those watching either episode that TSN aired.  Also I was so happy to see that RDS (the French version of TSN) was kind enough to air the race live for us race fans.  Even with my limited understanding of French I was very impressed with the 2 commentators of the race and the great coverage they provided on the event.  So if RDS could do it why couldn't TSN use their feed and have english commentators for the event since you could see the TSN camera crew running up and down pit lane during RDS's coverage and show the event live over the 2 shows they did air?  TSN had the perfect opportunity to make up for the fact that they never once mentioned NCTS in their commercials for this weekend's racing leading up to the event and they did not have to worry about competing with other big sports events due to the time of the NCTS race.  I'll probably waste my time sending another message to TSN asking why they don't support the NCTS series like they should but at least I'll feel better thinking I'm doing my part of showing support for the NCTS drivers and Teams.

In conclusion for those that watched it like myself on RDS truly got to watch a great race just wish I had of been able to go!!!

Again, because TSN has to broadcast the NCATS events in order to gain the rights for the Nextel Cup/BGN events...Nothing more, nothing less...
