I sure they could make changes as there are no written rules for them other than the guideline. Anyone who attempts to run the show with one of those cars would be foolish.

Just some food for thought for the LM driver turnover discussion....From the past 6 seasons (just because that's what I can remember), there have been 53 regular Sportsman/LM drivers/teams (if you want, PM me for the list). Out of those, only 20 of those are semi-regulars at Delaware, while only one other former regular driver runs LM elsewhere. 13 drivers/teams compete in OSS/NCATS, while only 3 race in other divisions. The other 16 driver/teams are currently inactive, albeit with 3-4 drivers having plans to return in the indefinite future.
Frankly, I feel that if the track could attract some of the NCATS/OSS drivers and lure 3-4 more out of retirement, they'd have a solid car count for the weekly events. However, feel free to interpret those numbers however you wish. I think the ratios of guys staying/moving/inactive will be about the same for most other tracks....
