I am a fan (or was a fan) of the Friday night racing. Untill I witnessed some dumb moves by a certain racer
who ended the season of a fellow competitor. Not only did he end the guys season, he got black flagged
and thats it. I heard he may have lost some points, but thats it. Maybe the driver should be suspended
untill the guy he wrecked is back racing. And then the Track has the ignorance to use a picture of the wreck as the Home Page title. REAL NICE GUYS.
I know I'm old and may have trouble spotting certain things, but for the life of me, I can't spot an accident in the home page photo of the Delaware site.....care to elaborate ??
Yeah its right under the title. Top of page. The 88 truck is rubbing the inside wall.The 41 truck is
******* who wrecked him. They should have a picture there of some clean racing or the winner.
I didn't see the wreck you are talking about, so I can't comment too much.
What I can say, and I believe I speak for everyone who has ever been on the losing side of a racing accident, is that I understand you're frustration. There is no worse feeling than the one you get as you head home with a wrecked racecar in tow. Total bummer...
Conversely, there is no better feeling than the one you get after a checkered flag or a really great night of racing. That's what keeps racers going...the pursuit of that feeling.
That's what makes racing such an awesome sport. If you're really a friday night regular then you know that as well as I...and I'll bet you're back soon, hopefully to experience one of the good nights.
Oh I'll be there to see if anythings going to happen to the 41 driver. And if the track doesn't do anything about it thats a shame. I understand things happen, but they are called accidents. What happened
on friday was called stupidity.
