It's been a while since the January meeting with all those concerned and the promises that were made regarding the resurfacing of the track and many other improvements. We've 8 weeks left plus some enduros and the year will be done....and are the owners done also ? The car count is dwindling in all divisions , Late Model's are down to 12 full time teams and 4 or 5 more that miss now and then. The general chat is that the track is getting real difficult to race without tearing up a big investment....and now "Flamboro is more FUN " ??? This would also be the time of considering what racing groups are going to visit next year and with the track not getting any better , this may be a hard sell.Delaware is the home (was) of CASCAR/NCTS and if the track is going to make money, the Victoria Day and Labor Day races at 8,000 to 10,000 fans is what is required.........The ISMA show proves that the fans will show up for top entertainment AND will pay the premium price. The ARCA Trucks are coming in 3 weeks, but no mention that they have not had less than 24 trucks at all their races this year....so everyone is still remembering the 12-13 the last couple of visits. There was good advertising for a simple thing like King of the Hill, and the place was packed. I guess I'm trying to say that an investment in track conditions would go a long way to secure some top Series, and advertising would bring the fans. OWNERS please come to grips with your investment or sell to someone who will make a go of it. Delaware Speedway has been around too long to just be run into the ground...it deserves better.

Who's going to be around for NCATS next year? It'd be nice to have them back for Victoria Day weekend, but I'd like to see the Labor Day LM event come together as well...

If the track isn't fixed soon you won't even get the ISMA, AVSS or ARCA Trucks.  The rough conditions of the track is way too hard on equipment all around I mean there are smoother dirt tracks.
