If the track isn't fixed soon you won't even get the ISMA, AVSS or ARCA Trucks. The rough conditions of the track is way too hard on equipment all around I mean there are smoother dirt tracks.
I don't think it'd make a difference for the ARCA trucks (they run Salem and Winchester, which are probably in worse shape), but it might for the AVSS and ISMA teams...What sort of comments have come from the AVSS camp after their race this year?
Not that I don't want Delaware to be repaved but, it's not that rough. Go to Lancaster N.Y. Now that's rough. What Delaware needs is two grooves for the LMs. Either repave the track or grind the bottom.
I'd be curious in variable banking ala. Lake Erie and Irwindale...It seems to work for those two...
when we built acms last year we included progessive banking at 9-10 -11 degrees this along with the last lift of a polymer pavement,i believe, gave us to groove raging out of the box. this year as rubber is laid down we have a third groove coming in still a little dicey but there for those with a stout heart.
sorry spell check does not help grammer, i meant to say 'two grooves right out of the box".
