How to get back side by side racing... thought?

OK, I may be crucified over this but just give it a thought.What is more important to a race fan a fast bunch of cars or a good race.I think we would all agree, 2 wide racing, with passing instead of bumping cars out of the way to get a spot. Heck if we wanted to see cars go straight and fast we would go to the drags.Ok so again as I said just a thought. What would happen if we slowed all the cars down 1 - 2 seconds per class. Would that not bring back the 2 wide racing we all are wanting and all complaning isn't there since there is only one groove in the turns at Delaware.Now the question is how do you slow them down. Gear rules, weight rules, hate to say it restrictor plates.So again don't crucify me just give some positive feed back.

i have not seen a mike eddy or butch millar around for a long time. damn i miss that series.

Too bad you missed the ASA show at Cayuga this year then. Butch was there. Didn't run too good though.

wow Butch Miller!!! that name takes me back! if anybody is interested I know where to get a 1/18th scale die cast of his early 1990's Thunderbird for the ASA series! It's only 20 bucks! if anybody is interested just PM me and we'll see what we can come up with because I saw it at a store downtown small Stayner Ontario where I live. Really neat car
