Put pylons in the corners for practice so they all run the outer groove....two things will happen...more rubber out there and guys will dial in the race cars to run out there....just a cheap thought

what gets me a little ticked off is the fact that they are doing this with only 4 nights left in the season! so the guys that experimented and spent some money trying to get their cars to handle somewhat on the outside with the way the track was did all that for nothing!

I doubt it will make a big enough difference to change any setups over.

Was over a the track today...they've simply ground down some bumps to smooth certain spots out a bit - most noticably a big patch at the entrance to turn 3 and a good patch right down at the start line. There's a couple other spots too, but those 2 seem to be the main ones.

A for the timing, sure, earlier would have been nice, but we've got a few weekly shows left and a couple really big ones in the APC 300 and the ISMA race. Now's better than never.

I could be wrong, but haven't they been doing that already?

FIRST OFF---more than TWO things will happen, when you put out the pilons. We have already  had a couple wrecks because of those pilons. And quite a few close calls because of them. And to top it off, they don't do anything to improve the nights racing.
I don't want to be so negative BUT,,,,we all discuss what we think needs to be done, when WE all KNOW what HAS to be done.
Until they either pave or cement the WHOLE corners, the racing will always be the same.Single file.
Some people like to write on this thread, that the race teams should do better HOMEWORK on set-ups to produce side by side racing. That's just crap.We all know it's alot of money to pave or cement BUT until the TRACK SPENDS THE MONEY,THEY GET WHAT THEY GET!(AS FAR AS A GREAT SHOW IS CONCERNED) >:(

I think going to either 100% pavement or 100% concrete in the corners would ultimately be the best solution, to get the same grip levels across the board in the corners...
