SLOWING THE CARS DOWN WILL NOT BE ANY BETER, FOR ONE WHY SHOULD THE RACER HAVE TO KEPT SPENDING MONEY TO FIX THE TRACKS PROBLEMS..
THEY NEED TO DO THE TRACK RACER PUT OUT ENOUGH TO BUILD THE CAR SO AT LESS THE THE TRACK CAN DO IS FIX THE SURFACE. AS FOR THE SURUP THEY PUT ON THE TRACK THE LAST TWO WEEKS IS A JOKE DELAWARE TRUCK MOST OF THE GUYS SAID IT WAS JUNK ARCA TRUCK NO BETER AS FOR THIS WEEK SS CAR DRIVERS SAID IT WAS NO GOOD AS FOR LM AND MOD NO TO MANY WERE TWO WIDE.
IF THE WANT TO QUIT RECKING CARS DO SOME THING WITH THE TRACK GRIND THE UPPER GROVE OR JUST PLAIN FIX IT.
OR THE RACER STOP RUNNING SEE HOW THE TRACK WILL MAKE OUT JUST HAVE KING OF THE HILL EVERY WEEK LIKE THE RACING NOW IT WILL GET BORING AFTER A WHILE
SO STEP UP OWNERS FIX THE PROBLEM >:( ???
a little uptight uptown hit your cap lock button pls. it is easy to say tracks should do this and that but you are talking hundreds of thousands of dollars to do this.yes track owners should keep their surface up as best as possible. the syrup was an attempt to help so it did not work next step,at least they are trying something,if the drivers can set up a car to run outside then look out they will dominate.
I agree, at least the track is trying things to make it better, and maybe for the LM and the mods it's worked, even for the ARCA trucks I have heard that there was some good side by side racing, but they all have slick tires, but for the divisions, such as the trucks and SS with treaded tires, the syrup actually causes the surface to be much worse off on the outside line, which in particular last week, you saw the outside line fade worse and worse, and was the cause of at least one of the accidents was guys trying to get to the inside line due to the outside line having no grip. Before the syrup was layed, you did see a great deal of the cars using the outside line to make passes in the trucks and SS, however now these divisions have become much like the LMs with follow the leader racing, which is no fun on the track or for the fans. The grinding of the bumps will certainly help out, and this is a great idea of theirs, so hopefully next week everyone will be able to get back out side by side, provided no syrup is applied to that outside line. As well, the effects of the syrup were seen in the king of the hill event, where any vehicle that ran on it through the turns nearly spun out. If it were only one car that nearly spun out I would say it was the car, but for as many cars that did, being them treaded tires, it was the syrup causing the cars to spin in the king of the hill as well.
I know that rubber helps the syrup but to me I would suspect that the syrup is actually sealing up or hardening up when the temp drops when the sun goes down. There was a few cars in practice that looked some what stable on the outside the 72 mod stayed with the 54 for several laps and looked pretty decent out there. but come feature time when the direct sunlight was gone there wasn't a whole lot of action on the outside.
