Well, running clockwise would be something new but that dosen't  make it better.

I'm with Racer 43,  why try to reinvent the wheel?  There's lots of  things that can be changed in ten minutes to get a car back to legal specs to make it through the scales and post race tech later in the day.  What is management thinking?  The staff in the infield have their hands full now without having to police and monitor this format.  Why add a more  complex procedure?
Personally I think the fans watch time trials with a lot of interest.  Just watch their reaction and applause when someone puts up a fast time  and moves to the top of the board.  If I'm still pushing our car down pitroad and can't see the scoreboard the fans usually give me some indication as to a fast time.
Leave it alone,  it works now .

I love the new idea; it's something different.  Times have changed; be open minded and give it a shot.

This is insane if they are gonna let you remove then add lead during this time or whatever you choose to do to cheat does that not seem rediculous??

I would think that the officials could keep an eye on 10 cars at a time; a simple rule that you can't add fuel during qualifying will stop the problem of adding fuel to make weight.  I don't think 10 minutes is a lot of time to be swapping lead around.
