scoring was worse than ever....barrie97ps you got screwed man..i'd be pissed too.
the 35 was started on the pole of my heat and i think he shoulda been scratch if i'm correct.  and they first called 1st,2nd,and 3rd place from one heat to the consi!!!

and whoever does the handicapping is handicapped!  how does a feature winner start outside pole in the next feature....i've finished 5th to 7th in a few features yet i start right in front of people who won or finished 2nd the last few weeks.

doherty who does the scoring and handicapping??

honestly if we all knew how this was gonna turn out all of the divisions would have offered to score themselves and done a more accurate job of it i bet....

so when i'm on here bitching about how screwed up sunset is....now y'all know i'm not crazy now....

Maybe not crazy but someone that doesn't know the FACTS!!

And BS97 All Barrie Cars started scratch.  So not sure how you thought you'd start 6th in the feature is beyond me.   Anyway I should have let you walk with nothing, obviously you just want to come on here and stir things up needlessly.  We talked and you know where the problem was and how it happened.

Deb very good of you to step up and explain the problem and admit you screwed up. Not many officials would. Mistakes are made, by owners, by officials and yes drivers arent perfect.... and the fact that Sunset invited all the Barrie racers to come after their home track screwed them, well that says alot in my books. We remember a time not too long ago, when a few of us had an open night from our track and called Barrie to see if we could run our thundercars and mini stocks ..."we dont need you"...was what we were told. Sunset told us no problem as long as we understood we had too start tail every race, so thats where we went and had a blast. At a race on dirt, about 3 years ago, a guy with a camaro missed his heat and so he didnt qualify for the feature and ended up not racing and ended getting nothing....they had him down as a street stock and thought he was broke, but he was a mini with a 2.5.

Deb  I am truely overwhelmed when i hear about stuff that goes on behind the scenes that most of the time we would never hear about. I applaude you for not only standing front and centre and admitting mistakes on your part but dipping into your own pocket to somehow rectify the situation. I can only hope that all the drivers that came to race at sunset from other tracks on sat. night hear about this and realize just how much at least one member of the sunset staff cares how they feel. I can't wait until next sat. night to come up and shake your hand and give you a big hug on behalf of all race fans in our area. Deb , you certainly are an asset to racing and i for one am glad you are at sunset.

mistakes happen it's understandable.

one thing that didn't make since..was they scraped Spectator Races...beacuse of time...but they should have run that during the long delays....then you wound't of had so many fans upset...beacuse I was in the stands..and a lot were really getting impation.

They should have realised it was going to take a bit to get it all sorted out and left it in the program for the night.

What if they sectioned off a small part of the pits to allow kids in but they must stay in the sectioned off area, that way they are around the action and smells that make short track Saturday nights so much fun. Just a thought you never really know.

HHHHMMMMM let me see,,, --- NO, NO WAY, the pits is no place for children that young. You can smell the same smells in the pits in the grandstands... the chance is just to great, and maybe you would be willing to take that chance but if it were my kid, no way, you can't replace a child, just the way I feel about it, and it is a very strong feeling and I will argue it to the end, no children in the pits under any circumstances.... and I am surprised that you would even suggest it.... kids are kids, and they don't always do as they are told, and they do stuff without thinking, and thats when one of them may get hurt..
