Rain last Saturday night forced the cancellation of our race program. As a result, will have racing this Saturday and Sunday at Barrie Speedway.General admission price for Saturday's show is $25.00. We'll also have a two-lap process of elimination round for AWD drive cars, again with $100 going to the winner. the winners from each round will then square off in the final with $300 and a trophy going to the winner. Format for the final round will be 5-lap pursuit - best two out of three.Drivers “After Race Party” (Saturday)The speedway is planning an “after race party” for all drivers, crews and their families after the races on Saturday September 13th. (I think they mean Sept 20th?) It’s a special “thank you for racing at Barrie Speedway” from the owners. Details will be available at the Pit Gate this Saturday.There will be camping available either at the Speedway or at Burls Creek. Details will be released shortly as to whether it will be at the Speedway or at Burls. My understanding as it was explained to me is this Green Bands pay an extra dollar this week and that does the whole weekend....
Orange bands cover Saturday only and Sunday you have to pay again...

Does anyone know if any top qualifiers are locked in on Saturday or does everyone have to race their way in on Sunday? If no one is locked in whats the point coming till Sunday?

why not do the qualifying for the top 8 on Sunday as well? This will give cars that are running for points on Saturday the chance to come out and race Sunday. You may see a few less cars because the schedule shows qualifying on saturday. even though it is 8 cars that are locke din, it still might hurt.
