Wow, it never ceases to amaze me why a driver will pay a $100 reg fee for the previldge of driving a track but tell them that they have to buy a NASCAR license for $90 and pay no reg fee and save $10 bucks and they get upset.

It was great to see the visiting cars that understood and respected that.

And does Delaware allow grace nights on a regular point night?? I'd think not... I know they have open events like the GCR 200 and Summer Shootout.. But those are more open invi"s

For example at Barrie for the Garry Reynolds Memorial race in Aug.. Its an open invi that day for LLM and points dont count for either Barrie or Nascar Whelen points, but if your a Thunder or 4 banger you still must register if you wanna race that night, cause points will be counting for our own drivers in the season standings...

I'm not talking about rogues that don't belong anywhere and show up at your back gate for something to do when they run out of beer and bullets.
I am a registered member in good standing at Peterboro Speedway. We got rained out. I wanted to race somewhere on Saturday. I don't think I should have to phone ahead to ask anyone anything. And I don't think I should have to pay $90 for one night. If the Horners decided to pay, that's their perogative.
From the time I found out we got rained out at 1:00 PM, I didn't exactly have a lot of time. We had to make a decision, change the car and go.
Varney is too far for us, but we found out later they were aware of the rainouts and were offering $50 tow money to visitors.
The dirt tracks as well as us at Peterboro welcome everyone.
I learned my lesson, next time I'll just go to Sunset.
