On the topic of Nascar licensing and registeration, there was a two week grace period last year for Barrie Speedway. While looking over rules and regulations at the beginning of this season. Barrie Speedway decided to change this rule for the drivers. It is to assure that if anything ever did happen on the race track that you are covered under Nascar and any of their associated insurance policies that they hold.
Most if not all drivers do this sport as a hobby. It's so that if anything did happen out on the track that families of the drivers involved are taken care of properly.
tractor, last years management was really grasping at straws to get new faces. 2 free nights and drivers and 4 crew free! i can see how you could have mistaken the change in policy! the new owners have the drivers and crews best interest at hand in the form of insurance for any accidental injury or god forbid death. unfortunately people don't understand the new policy, nor did i at first. it is not a cash grab, its for all of our good, and the money goes to nascar not the owners! i hope this clears up a little more and barrie speedway would love to have you anytime i'm sure. hopefully the new website will be up soon and all that info will be available.
