Plus 100 Your MAJESTY, I think you hit the nail right on the head.
Jim, at Sunset its $54 ONE TIME for minis and they let you in free. You V8 guys pay more.
I was never RUDE to the lady at the gate. I may have been a little cranked up, but I never cussed or disrespected the lady. She didn't change the rule. She just sells tickets.
The security guy was standing right beside me the whole time and if I got out of line, he surely would have called me out on it. He listened , but never said a word.
Then I POLITELY asked the security guy if I could drive my truck into the pit area to turn around. He let me. I turned around, I split.
Last year when I raced there one night, BSW's policy for visiting cars was 1 (maybe 2?) night's grace. I was unaware that BSW had changed the policy. Not being aware that the policy had changed, I saw no reason to have to call before leaving. After the mad scramble to get there, learning of the policy change the hard way naturally left me a little upset. I guess the whole thing was mostly a calamity of circumstance. I learned my lesson, and next time I'll know what to expect.
I still think its bizarre. You guys think its OK. No problem.
I hope you all enjoy great seasons at Barrie. If you ever get rained out and we're running, hope to see some of you at Pete.
I have noticed a couple comments on here about pushing or shoving a staff member. At any track, it is against the rules and whoever touches a staff person for any reason should be loaded and sent home for the night. It doesn't matter if the person is clean up or a flagman, they are a volunteer who assist the track in putting on a show and should may be the person who assists you next time there is an incident and you need help.
Back to racing nobody needed the back to back feature wins more than the 10 car...Gonna be a great race to the point title this year I'm guessin.. Gordie and Ron arent separated by much throughout the first month.. Lewis and Brown will be nipping right on the lead duo's heels with a feature win of their own.. Add in Al who will be returning and starting nearer the front in the coming weeks.. Got me tingling just thinkin about it.. Wouldnt count the 11 out just yet either.. 😉 Another car that could benefit from front row starting spots in the coming weeks.. And Randy Bull is equally as impressive in the initial weeks and isnt beyond a feature win or two either..
In Thunders, the 14&55 again will benefit from top 3 positions on Sat after DNF's on Friday..
mr ott has invited many drivers to try delaware...i believe u just pay the non member admission and they have a different payout for non members...
