;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Thats Great about Ralph ''Davey Tell him Boogitty Boogitty Boogitty for me bud,,We got to have you over for Dinner soon OK,, as for the 09 Line up I would like to See 47 Tommy Walters and The 19 of Keith Mcleod go at it for BSW,,Since Keith worked his Tail off for 08 !!!'' That would be fun to Watch!!!... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cant argue with you there SCOOTER!!!! Both about the dinner or anything you had to say about Tommy and Keith. To me these are the two best drivers/teams/race packages in the LLM division in Ontario right now. The guy that I think would also come close in that dept. is 2008 Mosport track champ #20 Dwight Brown. Add Dwight and Tommy to the BSW field and that would truly be some awesome racing. Now Dwight is pretty loyal to Mosport it seems, but he has ran Barrie on a few occasions in the past from 2004-06 so I think if they add at least one big $$ LLM special to the sched this year seeing these three on the same track could become a very real possibility, and if we did do this maybe you would see guys such as # 76 Tyler Williams and #8 Jason Parker make the haul from Sauble as well. Gotta stop talking now as I'm salivating at the possibility of seeing these 5 cars and others come together for a big LLM race, but that is indeed how good it could be!!!! Lets make it happen Jim Payetta and the rest of the Barrie ownership group!!!!
Well that is a pretty good 3 to select if you were choosing guys at will to appear at BSW Wade!!! I think Morrow and Witty are pretty much Sunset through and through, although it would be nice to see Chris return to Barrie, the place where he won the 1997 Challenger title. I bet not too many of you knew that Morrow is a former Barrie track champ as well??? As far as the Stomper, I think everyone in the free world knows how I'd feel about him returning to BSW to persue a 4th Barrie title.(Thats right I said 4th, 2005 and 2006 track champ, and again I bet not many of you know he shared the 1973 6 cyl track title with one Garry "The Gambler" Reynolds) to be honest I
It was the 1974 season that ended after 4 nights when the wrangling got to be too much hassle for track founder Gerry Watson and he shut it down save for a Late Model invitational later in the summer. There was however a Carling O'Keefe point fund and in the LLMs the trophy and points money went to John Eacott who was partners with my dad at the time and leading the standings after 4 night. I didn't know about the 6-Cylinder leader until I started to put together the track history for the kdm RACESPORT site and I got a bunch of information from Garry and Donna Reynolds. Garry told me he and Tom Walters were tied at the top of the 1974 6-Cylinder points and that is how I recorded it in my stats page. Tom doesn't include this in his championship tally and I've not spoken to him about it.
Personally I think it would be good to see a full season competition between Keith, Tom, Gordie, Robin, Garry, Dave, Alan (just add up the title count in that list) and all the other guys you've listed here. It would be cool if Dwayne decided to join in the fun too but I would also like to see how he does in the OSCAAR ranks after running so well the past five years at Barrie.
As for the best field ever assembled I guess it depends on your age as some would say that was in the 60s at the CNE and I might lean to the early to mid 70s LMs at Pinecrest with the regulars including Cook, Rueffer, Lelliott, Scannell, Hawn, Biederman, Hanley, Warnes, Milligan, Zampino and likely a few I've missed off the top of my head. But it does look like there could be some additional depth in the Barrie field and that is great news.

plus if u pm dave and he tells u who else may be coming u will be reconsidering possibly...pm dave and be pumped at whoelse is coming.
I'm not 100% sure Walters wil head back to Barrie as he left there in '07 halfway through the year because of the other drivers up there. It 's still the same drivers and he could go to Peterboro or he could move up to the ACT late model and run Kawartha, the 3 Grisdale races at Flamboro and the 2 specials up at Sauble. Personally I believe that's where he should be racing against the great field of late models not dominating LLM at Sunset or Barrie he's too good a driver.
