That is one thing that confused me also about Tommy's "Drive for 25" this past season STATSMAN!!! I think the 25 titles refers to it being 25 titles in the LLM/LM division only. Add that 1974 Barrie 6cyl title and I also seem to recall Tommy winning a few titles in the Street Stock division at Sunset in the orange Nova in the 75-79 time frame as well and I'd hazard a guess to say Tommy has over 30 track championships currently. But you are right 30 titles for Tommy, 3 that I know of for Garry (possibly more??), I believe Alan has 4 Barrie track championships? and two in the LM at Mosport, and that's close to 40 just between those 3 guys alone. Robin and Gordie both have Thunder titles in 2002 and 2003 respectively, and Lewis was the 1995 Barrie champ and thats impressive to think we could have all these guys competing against one another in 2009. And as for Baker I wouldnt rule him out of any Barrie appearances just yet!!! And totally agree about the Pinecrest days they were simply awesome and would agree that was probably the best stacked field of competition to date.
;D ;D ;D ;D WoW you guys Dave,, Stats and others have a lot of info. Kudos to you guys that Archives everything!!!!Fun to read !!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Gordie also had the Pure Stock Championship in 1995. Are you sure about Lewis being the 1995 Barrie Champ? I recall that championship going to Brian Malcom
100 percent sure!!!! I think Brian Malcolm's last Barrie title would of been around 1991 or 1992 although STATSMAN is really the one to clarify that. I believe though that Brian has 4 Barrie titles, three in the mid 80s and the one in the early 90s but Lewis was most def the 1995 champ. Good point about Shepherd I had forgotten he was a Pure Stock champ as well as Thunders.

I beleive that 92 was the start of Cascar, and prior to that it was a long streak of Simon Stolte ( I think he won 5 late model championships in a row). 92 and 93 was CASCAR, and 94 was the year of Cascar Sportsmen (although that may have also included 95). I thought that Lewis was the winner of one of the last championships before the track closed, either 96 or 97.
