it sounde V-tech-ish.....not meaning nothing, but just saying...
V-tech is 2 cams. One cam has a profile for the low end, one for the top end.
You don't need the low end profile racing and the V-tech gizomo's to switch cams, you figure out the rest LOL
* I have no inside knowlege, nor do I claim to know what was done to that car

without the lowend cam how do you get out of the corner ???
The low end cam is so it runs like a sewing machine and when grandma starts in 2nd or misses second it keeps going. If you are off the corner at 2,000 rpms you have some bigger issue 😉
FYI: it IS possible to have VTEC in a SOHC honda motor.
Regardless, if you want to equalize the field have different weights for size and valves or motor, as well as add weight to the winner.
50lbs on the right side was added to the winner at CCS this year, we had 15 races and I think 9 different winners. The only problem with this is some guys sandbagged the whole year because they were afraid of the weight, others didn't care. I think PTBO has the winner weight rule bang on. First win, no weight, 2nd win 50 lbs on RS, every win after 25lbs on right side.

O goody I could potentially have a discussion with Ross about something that he obviously knows nothing about......LOL but I digress

I will chalk this up to one point for me regardless ;D
