I think 3 divisions is a little far fetched there's just not enough cars. I think if they allow the stangs some motor mods and a little less weight they would competitive with the honda's I was racing at sunset this year and the 79 car just walked by most of the honda's. I personally hope you guys allow sohc 16v's because i grew up in that area and would love to race at barrie speedway I don't care if we have to weigh 2600lbs I just want to race at your awsome facility!

i encourage u 16's to come to the rules meeting for BSW.

I'd like to think without looking at the top 4-5 cars at Autumn colors this year, everyone was fairly equal.  I think with the weight rules at ptbo are as good as you are going to get to try and equal the 16 valve cars with the 8 and 12 valve guys.  Ask Joe Ireton and Derek Simmonds??(45 golf from Barrie) how good and close their racing was in the 2nd heat.  Joe was 2400 and Derek 2200, and it was an awesome battle....(I was right behind them in my 2400 lb civic too)

I think with the right weight rules you can make the cars competitive with each other.  You just need to figure out what those rules are.

Now in saying that the #1 car was 2650lbs and I don't think I've seen a faster 4 cyl car in the province than that of Juriga's!..but his also comes with 160-170 hp STOCK and there is no way that motor is stock.  It sounded and moved WAY too well to be stock.
