8ball...non of the divisions at varney have 20 cars...they have so many divisons at that track the drivers are all spread out...if they were to cut back too 3 main ones like most tracks i'm sure the minis would add a few more...plus as i mentioned before, they only start 18 in a feature so with l8 or less they all make the feature and they pay $50 to start it so thats pretty good...but yes eventually they have to consider 16v
actually the minis were drawing 17 to 20 near seasons end, so they have actually added more cars from last year so they don't need to consider 16v quite yet if they like what's happening.

Sunset was drawing 35 + many nights but regardless I like Varney and would like to at lest be able to run the invitationals out there next year .
2009 was our highest regular ministock car count since about 2004.The biggest problem with adding 16v is they would need their own class and there is currently too many dinisions at varney. if they would drop the street stocks(whose numbers have been dropping for years) This could open the door but I dont expect that to happen.
My guess is little to no changes next year on rules/classes at Varney. With the reconstruction and other infrastructure work plus some likely key staff rumoured to not be returning, they will have plenty of issues to deal with before next season.

Are you saying you might get replaced if you DQ the owners son ?
16 v cars dont need thier own class Melonhorst and Butler are the fastast SOHC cars in Ontario and both are 12 v cars that are Varney legal right now and are faster then any 16 v car .
