rumour mill has is D-shaped, moving front stretch wall back 5 feet, back straight 30 feet, 80 - 90 feet longer off corner 3/4, with progressive banking. Should be fast!
This is basically what I heard as well. What it amounts to is they are essentially adding a full lane to the top of the track and retaining the banking,as well as adding a full wall around.What is currently the high groove will now be the low groove,sorta.Dont worry Crash,it will still be a lot like the old varney.
As for 16v mini`s, we ask every year and they keep saying not this year.When they do say yes,I will have both my cars switched over to 16v and ready to go,assuming they follow the Kaw/Pete rules package and allow dohc 16v.
Oh, Hillbilly Racing is actually charity fundraising that is done at the track by the ministock class with assistance from the other classes and track personel, this past year we raised in excess of $6000 for our local special olympic athletes and some other charitable causes.
