Tonight at Varney Motor Speedway is a regular racing night but, we also want to show off what we got since many of you are not running at your home tracks.
Stock 4, Street Stocks, Super Street/Thunder, Late Model...you will not be turned away.
Extra weight may be assessed but, we will let your run.
In addition, you will not need to pay to register your car...only pit gate admission.
Please bring extra weight as we may handicap based on your home track. We don't know what the handicap will be yet so, please come prepared.
Also, Varney's "8 car minimum" rule will be waived tonight. If you finish first, you take home first-place money regardless of how many cars run the feature.
Pit gate opens at 4:00pm, Practice starts at 5:00pm and racing starts at 7:00pm.
Weather forecast for Varney tonight is mostly clear skies so, if your track is in doubt as to whether or not you will be running tonight, come out to Varney and see what you are missing.
from the sounds of it you guys need traveling cars to show up! only 4 late models hear!
Should be motivation to show up then if the 8 car rule got waived.... no brainer in my opinion.
my buddy wants to kno if there will be fireworks...the ones in the sky not on the track...it's not a deal breaker...lol...and how is the weather, 2 hours drive for us...plus mention of waiving the 8 car rule earlier might help car counts..
