Super Street / Thunder Car payouts increased at Varney Speedway

In a nutshell, we've increased first place money to compare with Sauble and Flamboro. In addition, the payouts throughout the top ten have been increased to balance out.

Because of this, there is NO SUPER STREET END OF YEAR POINTS FUND.

While this has apparently gotten under a few driver's skin, let me explain.

Varney rules state that you must start at least 80% of the feature races in a season to be eligible for the point fund. Any driver choosing to run Varney for the remainder of the season starting this weekend would still not reach the 80%. Due to our less than stellar car count in this division so far this season, there would only be two or three drivers that might reach the 80% mark.

So, check out the new payouts. If you're tired of running for 6th on back at your hometrack, a move over to Varney a few times a year...or for the rest of the season for that matter...might be the right fit for you.

Last Saturday, Flamboro Speedway's Nick Roth showed up and took the win. Would he have won at Flamboro that night? Perhaps but, he had a great race with Dwight Roxburgh and picked up the checkers at Varney.

If there is any sort of 'economics' factored in to your racing decisions, please consider Varney.

Good plan Varney, nice way to advertise things to.  Wish I was still running, id like to run the track more often!
