Thats exactly what I'm trying to explain...LISTEN! For those fellows married or common law, how many times did your wife come home this summer freaking about her day? What did she want you to do? Just shut up and listen!

For the record, guys like to be heard too! ;D ;D
I will tell you a quick GM story.
I had an issue with a brand new car and GM told me sorry there is nothing we can do and so did the dealer. Not a little issue the speedometer is off any where from 5 to 10 KMs and it is veries so it is hard to judge.
GM has know about this since 2004 and they still produce these models at the time. People didn't know because you need a GPS or another device that shows the cars speeds.
If you own any of these models.
2004 - 2007 Chevrolet Aveo
2004 - 2006 Chevrolet Epica (Canada Only)
2004 - 2007 Chevrolet Optra (Canada Only)
2005 - 2006 Pontiac Wave.
I searched the net and found only one issue now there are a lot more even to the point that GM and the dealer found out about it.
My dealer got pissed at me when I brought my grand am in for service and I was told I'm not welcome back there. Really don't car as I'm not buying another GM and only have 2 more years on the lease.
They are losing sales as all I every bought was GM and me and the wife have a car. I lease a new car every 4 years and my wife will most likely have a new car or a lease with in 4 years. So how much are they losing? and others know about it too. All they had to do was get me out of the lease I only had the car for less then a month and I would have leased another GM car. now they are dealing with a lot more complaints asmore people know about it and I make sure to tell people I know that own them to check it out and more and more people have GPS's now.
So listening to the customer and trying to help would have saved them the troubles of others complaining about it. Why wait for a big problem and yes people love to jump on the boat once it is started.
Sorry for the log winned story. OK I'm not haha.
And maybe one of the reasons GM, heck Ford and Chrysler are sinking like a leaded zepplin!
Customer service is an endangered species for sure! Seems you have to make a huge stink (with car makers for sure) before your voice is heard. Here's a thought, what if the companies (eg. GM, Sunset) are actually breeding us all to be whiners? Mom always said 'the squeaky wheel gets the oil'
note to self: tell Mom she was right.....again!
