Same as every other track. Its a busness, payouts are based on the points fund which is based on attendance. This year suck. We all have to take a bit less, money dosn't grow on trees.
Ross from what i have heard the points funds are paid by the division sponsors....i can't see that in a continuing agreement with someone the fund would decrease from year to year...if anything one would think it would remain the same if not increase.
Wes has the right to do whatever he wants with whatever money he gets but we paid for all of our own food and prizes buddy....that's the bottom line. we didn't in years past and i think it sucks....
just because you're not competitive you don't care about the prizes, cause you'll never win them. doesn't mean we are wrong to feel the way we do...
and then you say what it's like at mosport. do you see me arguing with people from other tracks about stuff i know nothing about? no and you should show some restraint sometime like a reasonable human being....

That is what I suggested last year but nobody grabbed the ball I think it.s the only way to get the right decisions for the circumstanes that come up. On Saturday night people are coming from all directions and from their own bias not for the betterment of others and the track. We could get together before the races or meet during the week and sort through all the issues great idea would back 100% but I am not there anymore good luck with Bill

Payouts are down everywhere. It is possible track have not recieved the full amount from the sponsors, or may even have to refund some, as with rainouts this year, the sponsors did not get the full exposure they expected.
Mosport's points fund is partially dependent on draw tickets purchased by the fans. Number of dates were down, so was the money.
You might consider not talking down to me. Reality check, you run a grocery getter Honda with its windows knocked out. Running your lap time in my class, would mean I'm 3 laps down in a 10 lap race. Mind pack finish at AC and Sunset Invitations. 9th in points at Kawartha, 5th at Mosport, rookie of the year both tracks. I'd drive circle around you if I'd sell my pride and be seen in a grocery getter jap car on a race track. You are more than welcome to step up to where the big boys run, but I doubt that would work out real well for ya.
