Heard alot of interesting plans today for the thunders next season @ Sunset  sounds like 9" Floaters are a possible option along with tin-kits and newer bodies holley 4412's  and  no points just balls out racing could be interesting  invitationals from $1200-$1500 to win maybe  crazy stuff if you ask me!! I just wonder what the other opinions out there might be????  sounds like a few safety upgrades and a very smart carb change and big money spell good times to me!!  maybe we could just go crazy and have full on steel bodied  outlaw thunders with all the trimmings LOL  sign me up!!

Good if its true, sounds similar to Barries rules if they get the same tires. good rule if they go to the 4412.Put the 4 barrels back on the coffie trucks. 😛

How can sunset even have any rules? Its an invitational every time was the way i understood it. As such wouldn't it be home track rules?

4412/Q-jet. Who really cares. Except for Kawartha and Mosport dosn't everyone run the 4412 anyhow? Argument has always been the 4412 works better, so why would anyone worry about making the rules so that you can't run the inferior q-jet?

9" floater, sure why not. Don't see why you couldn't run them anyhow. Safer yes, but then you are carying around more unspring weight. Hey go for it. Sure you can run it straight up, but still don't see it as being a competive advantage over the 10-bolt.

yeah if he goes with the trackmaster we'll be good to go  I think that's the general idea but don't quote me!!  should be some good times and maybe the boys @ KD will let the 4412 and the Floater  go so we can race somewhere on fridays

If they're goin closer to matching Barrie's rules, then I'm all for that as it'll equal the possibility of Barrie cars running Sunset the nights that they don't run, therefore opening up the field more.
