ill put my grocery getter up against you thunder at sunset or barrie and i am sure that username has the same thoughts. we have half the cyl and put up lap times that are prety close.
have a look at some 4cyls they are as much race car as your thunder!!! ;D
Obviously, Sunset has some issues. I don't pretend to know or understand anything about them.
Rather than bitching on an internet message board, has anyone thought about a group of drivers and/or fans sitting down with the Owner/Manager and discussing the issues?oldbill, if you read through this thread again from the beginning maybe you will have some empathy towards some of the "bitchers" and what brought this about...
i believe that most of this thread is people arguing with ross about his contrary views to everything important to others and since the topic is the sunset banquet and such, we have a sh*t show, but believe it or not it's for the better "good" of the track if someone can swallow their pride and learn some lessons from this cluster [Coc Edit - What the Language] of a season.

perhaps we can ask some questions at the drivers meeting....if we have one.
so if i'm such a "bitcher" oldbill, why haven't i brought up the fact i won more features and sunset should have broke the tie in the roadrunner division? so maybe some of this is being brought on by a certain "great ambassador for his track" (who's quote was that again? lol) who performs as consistently shitty on here as he does on the track.

I was suggesting that, if you really want things to change, it might be better to sit down and discuss them rather than complaining over the internet. The internet is a poor place to have meaningful discussions.
I don't know Wes or the other people at Sunset at all. I do know some other track owners and officials. They are all willing to sit down and discuss things if it is done respectfully and responsibily. We know from his comments on RTR that WES does not like being attacked on CRO (as none of us do). Why do you think comments such as yours will serve any useful purpose?
I would say that is incorrect charger...unibody is unibody....BUTthe lap times dont lie...also, Ross...u think driving a thunder is such a challlenge for 4 cyl guys? u want me to run down a list of guys who have stepped up the past few years that kick ur ass without blinking?
