We should just take our heads and bang them against the wall then trying show nothing was implied about the money as, Ross knows it all and he knows what everyone is thinking and what they ment to say.
Why waste your time skidder you don't have to prove your intentions of your post Ross is the only one that thinks different so let him think this and who cares as Ross seems to think people care what he has to say. Just a mention from someone behind the scene's who is not a member of Sunset, or races there, but you guys that are all complaining about the Awards Deal should really consider keeping your thoughts to yourself sometimes.
I mean you raced in a 4 Cylinder deal !!, or a LLM- or Street Stock, and although the Track just about goes broke because of a rained out season, they still pull it together to put on a banquet for ya all because you were all complaining that there wasn't going to be a banquet.
It was all, cry- cry - cry about no banquet....and then when they have one to satisfy everyone, all ya do is criticize them for it.
Now its- Cry-Cry-Cry because it cost to much to go...Ya should have stayed home !!
Your all mad because you didn't get a Jacket....Go to Walmart and buy one for $20.00 !!

i expected more for paying more, not pay more for less when we have the exact same sponsors. i don't care what you think of my opinion, the fact that a banquet was an afterthought says it all. do you notice the lack of information communication from sunset on everything from results, standings, payouts, year end points fund, rule changes ect? no you don't because you don't race there.....so stay behind the scenes where you say you are

this site keeps people honest, track owners and such are now accountable more than ever for what they do because there is a place where everyone can communicate with each other and compare what they were told, because there is little to no communication from the track owner to the drivers in our case, and the way things are unfolding isn't leaving people pleased. if you aren't handling things in a way to please your bread and butter, you will be a star on CRO!!!
remember there is equal opportunity for anyone to defend themselves on here....so they can say what they have to to get there side of the story out......

Sunset What A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I have to say! I have supported the track for many years, and will no longer do so, and from what I hear a whole lot of people wont be anymore as well.
Where do I start? From No beer in the pits or socializing after the races- god forbid! To increasing thunder car purses ( What about the late models, just a little more invested in those cars lol)
Calling the last race of the year! Sure it rained Saturday what about Sunday, didn’t you want to make any money before the track sat empty all winter! Good way to ruin a good points races Wes!
No Points next Year- can’t wait to see that! Where are all these drivers going to come from?????? People enjoy racing for points. That’s why you go all summer long, even with a purse increase, we all know that nobody is getting rich from hobby racing right? And where is all this money going to come from. Would you sponsor sunset? You sure get a big bang for your buck there, ha ha ha! There won't be as many fans, who are they going to follow, you will never know what drivers are going to show up and more importantly how many!
As for the Banquet-food was great no Doubt, but other than that was pretty disappointed. The Banquet is about the team, drivers they are the show, without them there is no show! Charity auction great idea-but not at a racing banquet, way too long didn’t pay $50 for that thanks. Oh ya did anyone get receipts for there purchases, just checking who knows where that money went.
Payouts were pretty stingy this year, no Jackets for the Champions (must have costed Wes to much) Only giving trophies to top 3???????
Rookie of the year how could you screw that up. Lm- Bruce was at every race, Ernie wasn’t, Bruce finished 317 ahead of Ernie, Hello they cant even get the one rookie right, and same for four cylinder.

Anyone want to take bets on when this track will close. I’m guessing mid June, pretty sad, great little track, wrong owner running it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obviously, Sunset has some issues. I don't pretend to know or understand anything about them.
Rather than bitching on an internet message board, has anyone thought about a group of drivers and/or fans sitting down with the Owner/Manager and discussing the issues?
