Playing dumb doesn't cover up how that comes across.

There is a national body, Special Olympics Canada, whose purpose is to organize and fund the local branches. It would be correct procedure to send large and or corporate donations to the national body, as that might be the organizations policy, and most likely they are able to handle larger/corporate donations with tax implications.

Since that was not obvious, and or we are playing dumb here, I’ll dumb it down.

If you have 5 bucks you want to give to the Special Olympics, you could hand it to any volunteer of the organization. You could leave that 5 bucks in the coin jar for the Special Olympics at your local gas station. I have a feeling this is what most of you are accustom to. Now for larger/corporate donations, you don’t leave it in the coin jar at the gas station, you may not give it to your local branch; you send it to the national body.

If one cares about where the money is going, they would call the Speedway to get an answer, not question a supporter in an open forum.

lets face it, wes DID a good thing collecting for special olympics and i'm damned sure he DID give any and all funds to them. wes has some different ideas and people have their opinions, which is fine. i'm not saying that in some opinions he has wronged people or whatever, not my business!! BUT he is not a thief and i'd put my money on that!!!!

Ross you seem to have an answer for everything and everyone to be honest no one cares what you have to say as you have tried to push your thinking down everyones throats and people are sick of it.

You may think it is funny but it's not.

I don't think anybody accused him of anything, A question was simply asked. Wes and Pat did a great thing Saturday taking the time to put it together to raise a few bucks.
The only accusations anybody is guilty of in here are the the ones that Ross "Almighty" Evans implies after he partially digests the first two words of each persons posts. By the time you get to page 3 or 4 with the moronic rants you suddenly find your trying to defend yourself against the stupidity.

Wes has always been a great supporter of any charity,so for anyone to read anything negative into any of these posts is totaly wrong. In no way was anyone implying anything negative.Local clubs rely on monies raised by these types of events as without these monies they have no programs for the athletes.Great job wes.
