Been there done that. It would seem that the cameras that they use just for that purpose are broken. When I asked about week #1 and how they can check the cameras to show my position I was told how somebody was shocked to find out there was no tape only to be told ... well this is common knowledge amongst everybody here in the tower. The question is.. did they get fixed?
There is lots of things that are about as big as an elephant going on there but nobody's job to fix it. A "PERFECT" example is the tire changer. There is a broken spring or something on it that rotates it. If you press down it turns around like a merry go round and doesn't stop unless you can hook your foot under it and pull it up. Sounds simple enough but the peddle is touching the ground making it hard to get a foot under it and if you do you usually just end up flipping it up and making it go in the other direction only to flip it down and make it go back the other way.
If you spend any time at the track or even were to walk around you can see these "elephants" all over the place but for anybody that has kids you know how these things are dealt with.. if you have kids try putting a box or a pile of garbage in a hallway and watch everybody step over it day after day without even thinking of moving it let alone throwing it out. That is what happens at the track.....
There needs to be accountability, respect and action!

J-T Racing. I totally agree with you, when I worked there and asked if Glenn would fix it, I always got I'll have it fixed next week.......... NEVER GOT DONE. That was 5 years ago...........
Maybe if someone finds a good one for sale, let Wes know and just maybe he will replace it..
As for the scoring mistakes........... my Mom was back scoring this week (Debbie...) and looks like she will continute on through out the year!!!
Amanda, please tell me you mother does not do the handycapping. Last week I stood in tech and watched the 4cyl line up change 4 times, Cars that were last in the consi started at the front for the feature. Our friends from Barrie were told the could not race, Ya ya they got paid, who cares. Again this week we seemed to have issues, cars moved up, other downs. cars missed. To whoever does the handycapping, please get with it.
