Ok ...... even though its horseshit, lets say the throttle stuck. That doesn't negate the other 2 (at least) times contact was made by Bentley or the blatant attempt to drive him through the front stretch wall. If his throttle wasn't hanging on lap one then was it by some miracle it started hanging halfway through the race? Also one more contributing factor may be that they showed up late and didn't practice. That's happened a couple times this year and the track always caters to mike when he needs late practice laps. Don't hear anyone calling it Bentley motor speedway. Show up on time like the rest of the drivers and fuel caps wouldn't be left off and throttles wouldn't hang. Mike is an incredible wheel man and has won a ton of races this year but needs to learn to keep the pin in. Sometimes your just not gonna win.
Your right... It is a shame. And sorry, but i forgot to put into parenthesis that I was being sarcastic about Bentleys throttle sticking...
But either way, Yes Bentley did get blacked for rough driving, but it was Walters who brought out the caution... Shouldnt he go to the back? And Bentley does drive around everyone... It just so happens that no one is willing to stand up to Walters, so Bentley is there to help all the other drivers.. Walters has been racing for a long time.. We all know that.. But every race, he barely ever goes on the outside of anyone... He pushes them going into the turns, gets them loose, gets them up high, and darts down... Thats not racing. He has one of the best cars at Sunset.. The only guys he goes around are lapped cars..
Back to the 11 car with Bentley... Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but that race between Morrow and Bentley was just close, side-by-side racing... And rubbin's racin! I did not once see Bentley door slam Morrow that race...
wouldnt pushing be considered rubbing. And like you had just pointed rubbin is racing.
It doesnt make any difference that Walters got his spot back or not, 44 Laking was to far back in points, and the race, to gain enough to get the crown anyways.
Brandon won the race so get over it Walters haters. Personally I think Walters is a great talent. He would have around 40 championships if he didnt get cheap shoted out of a few over the years.
If Bentley's throttle didn't stick why did the track buy it? Why would he deliberately wreck the car in 2nd spot when he could have passed him to win the title....or at worst got 2nd?
