Wow.. We really know who loves Walters here... Bentley has taken more crap from Walters over the course of this season... You get what you give.. Walters wants to push and shove, and get away with it, then fine. Sunset staff doesnt want to do anything about it, fine. Now it is left in the hands of the drivers. Remember what happened last year with Walters and Baker? I do. I hope nothing like that happens again, but Walters has it coming...
And by the way, Bentley is one of, if not, THE best driver in Ontario right now. Give the guy some credit. He earns everything he gets. Unlike Walters. Gets everything given to him. The track is only favoring Walters for one reason and one reason only... It is who runs the track when Mark is not there...
So for you to say that Walters should in fact get his spot back, bs. The line in turn 3 is to RESTART the race... Walters got his spot back.. Why didnt Bentley?

Mike, I know you will read this at some point in time.. Thank you for giving Walters a taste of his own medicine, and being one of the only drivers to do so. You are a well respected man, and really look forward to watch you race, week in, week out.  🙂

why dont you go ask the 11 car how he feels about the 51 car. Ii think tom has recieved more from the 51 this year then he has given out. 51 has been very aggressive this year. he does have alot of talent i will give him that just needs to drive past them not thru them

Alright... Bentley and Walters, one two in a few heats near the beginning of the season. Bentley was leading, and Walters gets Bentley loose going into the turn and pushes him up to get under him... Then in the next corner, Walters runs way high coming out of 4. This causes Bentley to hit the wall, or he has to lift and then by the time he get back to Walters, the race is over...

Polaris13, Yes he got the warning for aggressive driving, but like you said... They restart the race in turn 3.. That means that the track is green. Is that correct? Yes the laps do not start till the start/finish line, but they are racing in turn 4. And if they did not complete a lap yet, then why didn't Bentley get his spot back like Walters? Like you said, they didn't complete a lap... After all, his throttle stuck...

Your right... It is a shame. And sorry, but i forgot to put into parenthesis that I was being sarcastic about Bentleys throttle sticking...

But either way, Yes Bentley did get blacked for rough driving, but it was Walters who brought out the caution... Shouldnt he go to the back? And Bentley does drive around everyone... It just so happens that no one is willing to stand up to Walters, so Bentley is there to help all the other drivers.. Walters has been racing for a long time.. We all know that.. But every race, he barely ever goes on the outside of anyone... He pushes them going into the turns, gets them loose, gets them up high, and darts down... Thats not racing. He has one of the best cars at Sunset.. The only guys he goes around are lapped cars..

Back to the 11 car with Bentley... Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but that race between Morrow and Bentley was just close, side-by-side racing... And rubbin's racin! I did not once see Bentley door slam Morrow that race...

Bentley stopped at the start finish line to show his throttle was sticking, the track bought it and he was given a mechanical black flag, a change from originally being black flagged for rough driving.

Bentley's throttle didn't stick???  Say what you want but it really doesn't make any sense at all that Bentley would spin Walters on purpose.  He was 4 points behind in the MRE series, came from the back to the front, won one of these races already, has won 4 features on regular Sat nights, won the Gary Reynolds Memorial, and with 4 laps in this race could have passed Walters and if they finish 2nd and 3rd they end up tied, and Mike could have won it, so wrecking him deliberately is off the table for me.

If however Mike's throttle was sticking he should have headed pit side and not raced like that, also would the track officials not want to know for sure if it was sticking, but seems they agreed it was because they did not disqualify him from the race, and if the move he made was on purpose (and I don't think it was) he should have been disqualified. 

I also think Tom had enough points to win if he went scratch and I agree he would have got by enough cars to still win the series.  I wished that's the way it would have played out, and not being allowed to keep his spot.  That may be the most confusing of all that went on.
