The curling was supposed to start at the top of the hour. Did anyone else notice when curling showed up for about 10 seconds then? TSN obviously already made a decision to stay with the race. When they did change over it was about 20 after the hour or something close to that. There were 5 laps left then and a restart was going to happen. They couldn't wait until the bottom of the hour or say if the race wasn't over they were switching at the bottom of the hour so go to FOX? Instead we got curling on the screen and GO TO FOX huridly announced almost as the green flag waved. I guess the CARP lobby got to them  ::)
TSN made a huge deal out of the fact that they purchased the rights to be NASCAR Canada. Are they now having buyers remorse? If so get out!

Theu had to switch to curling..they were on skip stones, if not they would have lvst the end of the first end advertising money!
TSN2 would have did nothing as you can't get this on rogers. It was all about 5 Min's. People still would have saw the curling on time delay. I know that they could have done this as the have done this before. No one would have been mad as they would have still got everything and no one would have missed anything.
You ever notice the same commercial run twice one after another. that is not a mistake. They have to do this as the advertiser paid to have a certain amount of their commercial run on that show or in that time slot but the TV station couldn't get it in for some reason so instead of losing money, so they show the same commercial 2 times in a row.
I think the race ended in what 5 Min's after they cut away?
It could have been juggled if they did it right. There is more races on TSN then curling and what they did is lost a lot of viewers because what they did. Next week I'm recording on FOX.
I have learned to extend the record time on races as sometimes there is a rain delay now you need to get the pvr to switch to fox near the end of the race. Who Knew ::)
Yes they definately had to show the Scotties as it is the 1st time in a long time they had the championship rounds over the CBC. 1st the hockey night song, now this
