TSN does not have a contract with nascar

TSN pays Fox to simulbroadcast, Fox has that in their contract with NASCAR.

Could we have missed a few rocks being thrown? sure, but TSN cannot afford to lose the Briar and Scotties, if it was a normal game then they would have stayed with nascar.

They do pay to be called NASCAR Canada. The races I and everyone else knows they pay FOX for this feed.

The whole point your missing Thayne. They have it taped and they could have stayed to the end of the race and started the curling a few minutes later and had a banner on the bottom of the screen saying the briar would be on after the race. If anyone noticed they re-aired the briar again at 3am till 6am.

I guess TSN did a study that showed people watch the Briar at 3AM?

I have bell expressvu and I make sure I pvr the foxhd channel. You still get the lilydale crap but at least you see the end of the race. A similar thing happened with the tsn alternate channel last fall & there was lots of screaming then.

Evan, the part you dont get is that you D0N'T Tape delay what you are paying the most for!

What they shoulda done was move the race to TSN2...

I have lots of knowledge of the inner-workings of TV and radio and only the 300 thousand or so ppl watching the race are gonna be mad...the 2.6 million watching curling are happy...not to mention if they missed an end and the commercial island there they would be in deep shit.

i think evan that tsn is not nascar canada, there is a marketing arm called nascar canada which is completely seperate from the canadian tire series, altought they maybe be pwnd by the frances company.
