Curling is bigger in Canada that Nascar unfortunately. Thayne is right, curling brings in big $$$ and many viewers. Wasn't it last year they had a big up roar how all the games were played on different channels and so they decided to stick with TSN this year. Why they didnt just half screen or put the race in the top 1/4 just so people could watch the last few laps...best of both worlds, why send viewers away to another channel?

That is what I found strange.

They should have just played the race later. a lot races do not finish on the scheduled time. You can't have the best of both worlds and tell people that tuned to go somewhere else because you mean nothing to Us. Like I said I supported TSN and watched the races on TSN instead of Fox and even put up with the same commercials over and over. Now Fox is the station for me to watch and tape and even if there is a race not on any other station and only TSN airs it. I will watch online.

Nice to tell customers to piss off because curling has a better follwing. Like jcrashm2 said they could have done something.

why send viewers away to another channel?

A question that's been eating at me... Who the hell watches curling? Isn't that the second most boring sport in the world?  Second to watching a race on a cookie cutter....

I have to agree with jcrasm2 on this. Curling is bigger in Canada than Nascar. It's a fact. All they had to do was tape delay the curling by 4 or 5 more minutes. After an hour you would have made up that time & no one would have known any different. There would have been a lot of people wanting to watch the end of the race and the curling who wouldn't have cared if they missed the first end. It's not rocket science although some people try to think it is.
