A big congrats to the #18 of Jay Cutting, who has worked his ass off all year. The kid ever complained about running with 16 valve Honda's at Sunset, the kid was hooked up all day. A well deserved win for the Cutting's.

I agree!! Jay and his team are a class act! met him and his dad at AC...great guys, glad to see they got a win!

I was thinking on the drive home last nite,"where did the 18 car find that speed?" but then I realized he was running all year at sunset against the 16v cars and getting spanked. This further proves my point that I posted in the "4 cyl rules" thread that the 8v cars need their own class and multi valve cars their own.
Anyway, that was a very, very nice run by the 18 car, congratulations on a well deserved win.

It was amazing how the p.a. was just dead air after the big wreck in the third 50 for the thunders. And there seemed to be no running commentary while the racing was on, not that we could hear it,

Paxton, the announcer, said in the driver's meeting that he would be doing the announcing as well as being the mouth for the one way radios in the cars. That may be why there was lots of dead air on the PA. I stopped using my one way before the features because the track's transmitter is so bad I couldn't hear anything except static that was four times as loud as his voice. Plus he would talk during green flag racing and I was instinctively letting off the gas because I am used to only hearing radio transmissions during cautions.

Thanks for the kind words Mike. I had a blast running in a crowd most of the day. I am one of the people that wish the S.Buxton #27 didn't come back out since he was the one that punted me thru the grass in the beginning of the second feature. Oh, and yes I was freezing behind my screen. I had to keep sitting on my hands during cautions to warm the fingers up again.

Next time you are at Ohsweken come by and say hi. I might have an extra beer or Dr. Pepper I can offer you.
