There are cam grinds available out there that will give you the vacuum you seek. That being said there are more issues that affect vacumm such as carb tuning, ign timing, valve lash, valve condition, intake leaks the list goes on. We worked with a team with an issue of vacuum being low so we did everything and finally got it. the next week they got ragged in tech again. I provided the track with a calibrated vacuum gauge and told them to toss the "makes waves" piece of crap over the fence. If you're worried bring your own gauge, of course that'll depend on how sticky they are
Hey Dougy109. U say that most guys with mild cams and even stock motors will me around 13, Then rules say no less then 17. Is this going to be a big problem for most of the guys to hit? I really hope that this doesn't affect the class to much, shit they hurt to get 50 cars know. Shit I hope there is a class still to run in. LOL Im building a 1982 regal if ya got any good tips.
