Ok so we've been allowing a little bit of latitude lately, but the "keep it respectful" rule is taking a pretty good beating here. There's a lot of good ideas here being put forth, but it's productiveness is getting clouded over by the bickering and the BS tone of the whole thread. If you're trying to be taken seriously, let me strenuously advise you that name calling and whatnot is a guaranteed way of making sure you won't be.
Any more personal snipes and the thread's getting shut down. We don't care who started it. This COULD be a very productive thread....I don't want to see that happen.
Let me make this clear to you and all the ass kissers who posted how great you are to call me out
I don't give a FLYIN PHUCK what you or any other whinner at Delaware does or builds! as a whole
no I wont PM you cause I don't care what you say or do....I hope that is clear for you
If not just go to the start of the page and get someone else to read it to you and explain it for you
Go Canada Go ;D (F1 Really LOL that's your dream JR) head director is that a new position you just made up Jack? Bernie Ecclelstone is the President and CEO of Formula One the only way to get that job is BUY it (know anything about buying a job Jack? 😛 ) and just so you know a CEO is Chief Operating Officer..... and learn how to spell you appear very undereducated
I'm not sure someone accusing someone else of being undereducated is entitled to do so when calling a "CEO" a Chief Operating Officer (which is a "COO") when it is indeed a Chief Executive Officer.
I don't think the debate over crate was which is more economically viable, the reality proved that it was not really the situation at all. I understand that some folks cannot afford a crate and have to run homebuilt stuff. The problem is there is a an overwhelming tendacy to go to motors that really push it beyond the outer limits of is considered to be affordable. I was told in a meeting with upper management at the track "It costs money to race" which yes it does. However true that is, we also have to be somewhat self policing and try to make those costs reasonable.
Because JR and I share the same opinion that should not be looked upon as anything but two guys with the ability to sort of a plan that would make sence and is logically sound.
The top end of the divisions are ok so we probably need to focus on the back off
most guys running built motors out there could afford a crate and have spent more on the built. I dont think anyone is talking about the guys who run mid to back of the pack who are just trying to be there and have some fun
did u say 300 lbs ?
yes I did but you must look outside of Delaware at the rest of the Tracks rules for this to make sence for you.....and it is the hopped up lightwieght stuff I am talking about.....If one was to build say a $8000 motor under say Sunset rules that same motor would cost say $5000 at Delaware for the same HP....I base this on acid porting and grinding and polishing of say a 920 or 336 or 441 head VS puting on a Vortex head... and no I dont have any Dyno reports to back me up...and please dont confuse this penalty with me wanting a spec built to be allowd VS a sealed Crate.....I feel that unless Delaware brings thier rules inline with the rest of Ontario they are doomed to small feilds and yes the same can be said about other tracks aswell
any thoughts on this?
