justracin you need to take it down a bit, you are entitled to your opinion and you sure are entitled to voice it. What you need to do is be respectful of people and constructively argue a point. Piling on post after post just to read yourself? C'mon why don't you post some worthy points of conversation? Personal opinion of people is not what this forum is about, last time I checked it was about racing and this particular thread was about Delaware in and the racing there. No Jwo you have not offended me but I do find you to be one sided   as you will side with JR but I will not argue with you on that .....I have put forth manny Ideas on this forum  without fear of having the Idea shot down but I do wish people could come up with a reason why something will or will not work or better yet expand on an Idea or suggest a better Idea that can be debated rather than just say "that wont work or no way anyone trys that" really can anyone on here come up with a new line   .....and yes I realise this thread was about Delaware and yes I did race there this year once and was flabbergasted by the amount of winning that came to our trailer telling us do this do that stay out of my way and so on......what do you think the chances are of a return trip? how about reading a little further up in this thread and see the suggestions made on Crate vs Built and on tires for Trucks and SS and come back with your answer or Idea to further develop a class and see the no Brainer answer I got ....as for piling on posts ..LOL I answered every post directed at me so where do yo get that??  and hey you feel the need to post to me that I need to have respect WHERE is your post to JR FITZPATRICK  oh ya that's right you may want another set of tires really come on :'(... I forget without going back into the thread to see perhaps you can look(see post 49) and tell me as I am sure you will want to post to who responded to him and tell them they need to be respectfull...and while you are looking for that see the post of my responce to him (post 73)and mabee you can expand on that

 Glad we both are havein a good laugh.you didn't however answer any of my questions but I guess I didn't really expect you too so no worries....but really cant you stop with the grade three name calling. and it is spelt ASS CLOWN...just wondering what your Ideas are "post up"  haven't you said you want other guys to race against?? try and reflect that in your posts or because you have 2 cars  only your opinion is relevent this the best answer you can give ? I hope not and would like to think not who cares who races at Delaware hasn't it been stated that car counts are low ......Yes your opinion matters but so does everyone else's

lets restart here:
what is your opinion on lightweight builts with Vortex and 3" headers and 500 holly's

I think builts should be spec  as in same part list as a 602 including intake exhaust and carb
If not I think 300pds should make up for the light stuff along with 2 1/4 spec header  2 1/4 exhaust and 350 holly should put the built at a disadvantage where I feel it should be

now before any one says that will cost to many $$ to convert I say too bad you had the money for a built spend some more

Looking forward to your post but of course ALL are welcome to post their Ideas even if you race another track or are just thinking about racing at Delaware or another track for that matter ... I don't know who will agree with me but I still hold out hope that a Ontario set of rules can be made so it don't matter where you call home you can travel to any track in Ontario and know the rules are the same

I don't usually comment on issues like this here as it is obvious that we all have different opinions regarding crate & built engines, and no matter how much debating we do here, we all will never agree.

What I do know, is that if we ALL don't start doing what is in the best interest of the success of our track & short track stock car racing (making sure there are affordable options for people who don't have huge pockets), we wont even have to be having this conversation because the sport we all love and want to survive will be a thing of the past.

Tech is the strongest its ever been and I am sure they have some stuff in the works to help with the program for 2012.
