I'm saying one built this years had over $7000 in it and you think built motor racing isn't about the wallet? You would have to devise a system of allowed part numbers and then machining costs. The idea is to keep a cap on spending, as cost is killing the entire sport of racing. Do the tracks take over and control the spending or do they watch evaporate? I've heard from promoters in the south with the same situation and they are taking control. If I had my way you wouldn't see a single vortec head in the enduros and trucks would all be running those 290 hp crates on a 5500 chip.
